Easy way to obtain driving licence in india

As per the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988, it is required to have a valid driving license in India to use a motor vehicle on public roads. If you are a resident of any state or union territory of India and are willing to get a driving license (DL) with ease, then this guide is for you as we will guide you through both online and offline process. You will also show how to obtain an international or duplicate driving license in any state or union territory of India.

Eligibility Criteria – Eligibility Criteria

  1. A person must be legally 16 years or older who wants to use a motorcycle with an engine of less than 50cc.

Apply for a Driving License – Step by step guide

To obtain a Note – Driving License, it is necessary to obtain Learner License first,

  1. Open the Charioteer website of the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways. (
  2. There you will get two options (Vehicle Registration Related Services and Driving License Related Servives) Select the option of Driving License Related Servives on the left.
  3. Click on the ‘Apply Online’ option from the drop down menu and click on ‘New Driving License’ from the menu.
  4. Now you will see three options there, select the first option and click on submit button.

Applicant does not hold Driving / Learner License

  1. Now, you will be asked to select your state or union territory and RTO office. And enter your personal details like APPLICANT NAME, MOBILE NUMBER, ADDRESS, DATE OF BIRTH, ETC. And also address prof, age proof required documents.
  2. Now, click on SUBMIT button for DL ​​appointment and after payment the application will be successfully sent to RTO.
