What is Android, its history and future

Android is not a phone nor an application, it is an operating system based on linux kernel. If I say it in easy language, Linux is an operating system that is mainly used in server and desktop computer. So Android is just a version of Linux that has been created after a lot of modification. Yes but it is related.

Android is an operating system that was designed keeping the mobile in view. So that all the functions and applications of the phone can be run easily in it. Whatever you see on the phone’s display is all part of the operating system. Whenever you get a call, text message, or email, your OS processes it and presents it to you in a readable format.

Android OS has been divided into many versions and according to their features, operation, stability, which have been given different numbers. So if you have ever heard a name like Android Lollipop, Marshmallow or Nougat then let me tell you that these are all different version names of Android OS or Operating System.

Android Inc. History of
Android Inc. The original creators of Andy Rubin, which Google bought in 2005, and after that they were made the core of Android Development. Google bought Android because they felt that Android is a very new and interesting concept, with the help of which they can create powerful but free operating system and which later proved to be true. With the help of Android, Google got a good reach of younger audience and with this, very good Android employees also joined Google.

In March 2013, Andy Rubin decided to leave the company and decided to work on another project. But even after this, there were no ups and downs in Android, and Andy Rubin’s vacancy was filled by Sundar Pichai. Pichai, who hails from India, used to be the head of Chrome OS before and his expertise and experience were well used by Google in this new project.

This “Open Source” model makes Android unique
The biggest competition of Android SmartPhones and Tablets comes in Apple iPhone and iPad. The biggest difference between these two operating systems is that Android’s OS is Open Source and Free, while Apple’s iOS is completely closed which means nothing can be tampered with. For example, in iOS we cannot change the default browser from Safari to Google Chrome.

In Apple, you have many restrictions in these default apps, which makes it a big problem to use them and you cannot even try anything new in it. At the same time, with Android being Open Source, you can use your desired apps in it. The use of these two is very old, here I want to tell you one thing that all this is a matter for personal preference. The rest is up to you which type of SmartPhone you want to use.
